Munawwara Junior College Celebrates Meelad-un-Nabi 2024
On Friday, September 5, 2025, Munawwara Junior College marked the joyous occasion of Meelad-un-Nabi (Arabic: مولد), the annual festival commemorating the birth of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This event, traditionally observed on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal in the Islamic calendar, brought together students, faculty, and the wider community to honor the life and teachings of the Prophet.
The celebration featured a series of spiritually enriching activities, including recitations of the Quran, naats (poetry in praise of the Prophet), and inspiring speeches highlighting the Prophet's message of compassion, wisdom, and unity. The program also included a presentation on the significance of Meelad-un-Nabi in Islamic history and its importance in fostering values of love and peace.
The college was beautifully adorned with lights and decorations, creating an atmosphere of joy and reverence. Participants expressed their devotion and gratitude while coming together as a community to reflect on the Prophet’s timeless legacy.
